I'm way behind on this post...

Macy turned 15 months on June 5th!

• You have started counting to 10!  Your favorite numbers to say are "5" and "9".  You are a smart cookie!

(June 3rd- Cracker Barrel)


• You are very strong willed which can test my patience daily lol  I know this will be a good quality -one day ;)

• Your hair is curly in the back especially when wet..it is so cute, I hope it stays that way!

• You wear size 12-18m, size 4 diaper,and sizes 4 and 5 in shoes

• You love to climb steps, or anything else. You would do this all day if you could.  You also looove being in water.

•  Your favorite foods are: fruit-especially watermelon, cantaloupe, and pineapple.  You like corn, green beans, mac and cheese, chicken, bread of any kind.  You also have a sweet tooth like your mama and love any kind of dessert!   If it something you really like you will say "MMMMM"

• You have so many teeth now I have lost count! 

• You love to be read to and will also "read" your books in your jabber language

• You LOVE being outside

•  You have started saying "you're welcome" after hearing thank you.

• Your favorite show is Dora the Explorer.  And your favorite movie is Bee Movie (we have watched it SO many times in the car.  This is the only way you will ride without fussing...while watching a movie.)

• You had some type of virus this month which caused a rash all over you and a bad sore throat :( You would not eat or drink anything so I made you pedialyte popsicles to keep you hydrated.  You lived off of these for several days..poor thing.

•  You HATE having your diaper changed and being dressed.  I have to fight you every night to get your pajamas on..it is exhausting!

14 Months Old

Macy turned 14 months on May 5th!

•  Your favorite thing to do is drawing and  coloring.. whether its in coloring books, drawing on scrap paper, or the app on my Kindle -you love it!  When you are drawing on my kindle, you usually like for me to draw also and I always write your name.  Well you apparently picked up on it because now when I look at what you have been drawing , there are several "M's"!  I am quite impressed with this.

• You no longer need pumped bottles during the day (yay! I do not miss pumping at work!) , but you are still nursing.  

• You cut 3 molars this month...ouch!  It did affect your sleeping quite a bit, but you seem to be feeling better now.

•   You have started saying "mmmm" when you are eating something good (usually something sweet...oh just like your mama)

•   You are a daredevil!  You want to climb up on things and then JUMP off!  I have to really watch you.  You especially like standing up on your doggie rocker and then jumping off...sometimes you even land on your feet..crazy girl.

•   You LOVE being outside and HATE coming in...I have been having you bribe you with bathtime just so you don't pitch an absolute fit.

•   Still a night owl...usually 10:30 is when you finally go down for the night.

•   You say "thank you!" when you hand us something .   You also say "flowers" when you see them and love to pick them.

  

May 5th at the Equestrians for the Cure Ride

•  You discovered throwing things and you think it's hilarious

•   Your favorite tv show is Dora the Explorer..you love the "we did it!" song.  You always look at me like *gasp* its our song!!  and then we dance.

• You love water!  You played in the (freezing) ocean for the first time on April 28 (more on that later)

Macy and Daffney- May 7

13 Months Old

Macy turned 13 months old on April 5!


*You have really grown so much!  You had your 12 month appt and you were in the 50% percentile at 21 lbs and 75th percentile at 29 and a quarter inches tall.  You had your heighth taken like a big girl instead of laying down .  You got 2 shots..one in each arm.  You did better this time than I thought you would.

(March 29- Dr. appt.)

*You know what a turkey, bee, dog, and horse says.  You can say and point out nose, eyes, hair, fingers, toes, and ears on yourself and others.  You now say thank you, bite, ball, hey, bye, mama, dada, puppy, horse...and theres more that I'm sure I'm forgetting. You pretty much mimic anything we say and do.  You blow when I blow your food thats too hot.  Or if I say 'it's hot' you will start to blow. 
When we hear something outside I will say "shh shh listen...." and so now you say "shh shh" when you hear the garage opening , you know that daddy is home

(March 11)

*You are walking like crazy (started walking around March 14th I believe)  and you do not like to be carried...you want to walk on your own!  Especially in the yard..you loooove being outside

*We took you to the park on March 31.  You rode the carousel and the train for the first time.

*You had your second Easter on April 8th. (detailed post to come)

Macy's 1st Birthday Party!

Macy had a great first birthday party on March 3rd!  I have to say it was exhausting getting everything done the night before.

Friday night (March 2nd), it was just me and Macy getting everything ready.  She loved her balloons.

We did an "ice cream" theme for the party so I made cupcake ice cream cones and they turned out pretty cute!

Mimi and Papa were the first to arrive.  They got her a wagon...she was sooo excited

I just served PB&J sandwiches, chips, ice cream, and cupcakes...nothing fancy!

Macy was really needing a nap as this was right at her naptime, but she did pretty well.

After the party, Macy had a quick bath and then a nice 2.5 hr long nap.  When she woke up she got to check out her new ride from mommy and daddy!
