Since I completely failed and did not post this in November I will combine the 20 and 21 month update!

**You know your colors (well a lot of them)... You can identify pink, yellow, purple, blue, green, orange and red.  If I ask you what you want to wear its always "pink!"

**You love to dance to the songs on Disney and Nick Jr. and it is a must that we join you "C'mon mama! C'mon da-da!" and then you are screaming with excitement like its just more than you can take haha

**Your fave foods are crackers, bananas, PEARS, apples (when you say apple it sounds like pawpaw haha) ranch on anything, pizza, popsicles, cheese, bread, cookies (anything sweet really), corn, cucumbers and cereal.  Not much for meat right now...    You love drinking juice, tea (de-caf) , milk, and water.

**Starting to talk lots more... "There she is!".... "Pullll, pull pull pull" when you want me to get up (picked that up from Dora) ... "I'm okay!"  "Thanks!" "Thank you!" "There you go" "Night-night" and can identify most any object... chair, shoes, pen, juice, .  Can also identify and say things like "the red book" "mama's shoes"  Vocabulary has really taken off, I can't possibly remember everything you can say right now!

**Your hair is getting so long and thick , it stays in tangles and you HATE HATE HATE getting it brushed. if you see me get a brush you know whats coming and will run.  Also hate having your hair washed.

I'm waaay WAY late on this post, but in my defense... well I just forgot haha  But anyway heres lots of pics! I have better ones on the camera, but these iphone pics will have to do since it's almost Christmas I need to get this posted!

Macy had a great time at the fair this year, she was able to ride almost all of the kiddie rides and loved seeing the animals.  Clifton won her a big stuffed dog and also a purple cow.  She rode a pony, went down the big slide with her daddy, rode the merry-go-round 3 times and ate lots of food!  Each time we were getting off of a ride she would say "Byyyyyeee".  Cuteness!

19 month update:

**Your favorite foods are: bananas (which you enthusiastically ask for- "naanaaa!"), crackers, corn, mac and cheese, pizza, anything that is dipped in ranch, popcorn, cheerios, bread, pb&j, nutra-grain bars

**You were finally weaned from nursing on Sept 29...bittersweet.  You have not forgotten about it though, you still pull at my shirt when its naptime on the weekends.

Sept. 29- Fall Fest at the Pines

**You sleep thru the night!!

**You are watching other movies now...Aladdin has been a fave as well as Tangled.  Dora the Explorier and Go, Diego Go are your fave tv shows.

**When you leave a room you say very quickly "byebye!"  And usually say "heeyyy" when you come into a room.  You also will pick up one of our cell phones or you play phone and say "Hello? Hey. jabberjabberjabber...bye bye"  Its pretty hilarious

Oct. 2- teacup ride-county fair

**You say 'thank you' all the time! Even to waitresses.  Sometimes you will repeat it until you hear "you're welcome" :) Such a polite little thang...

**Your vocabulary has taken off this month!  Off the top of my head you can say: yellow, blue, cracker, juice, bee, bear, dog, mommy, daddy, pawpaw, mawmaw, pippi, thank you, hello, hey, bye-bye, no, uh-oh, oh-no, there it is, backpack, Dora, Swiper, Boots,Map (hmmm wonder where those are from...) I know there are more, just can't think of them all

Sept. 20-greenhouse

**You have learned pretty much all your body parts and can point to them when asked...even eyebrow and forehead!

**You love being quizzed on animal noises

**You still love to draw and color.  You can put your wooden puzzles together and when asked what the animals are you can point to them...penguin, shark, dolphin, ( "harder" animals than just the classic farm animals)

**You love to sing "Ee-I-Ee-I-O"

Sept. 22- greenhouse

**When your shows on Nick Jr. come on you know the intro theme song and can say some parts of it right along with it.  You also answer Dora and repeats some of the words she says, even Spanish ones.

Shannon is one of my very best friends. She is extremely driven, smart, and dependable.  She is always willing to help in anyway she can. She is  funny, thoughtful, creative, caring and a wonderful friend (and a catch for some really lucky guy!)   She is very active with her church and community.  She is beautiful inside and out!

 She loves to cook and try new recipes, crochet, read, shop, and travel (recently to Alaska!) 

 

She has lived all over the south (SC, NC, and TN), but currently resides in Atlanta, GA.  She moved to Atlanta right after graduating from Western Carolina University in 2011 (where she received a degree in Finance) to start her new job working in Accounting Systems Support.

5 year anniversary and Kid Senses!

I want to get back into blogging more about our weekends and trips and not just monthly updates.  I love looking back at these! 

August 11 was our 5 year anniversary and what did we do to celebrate...why went to Kid Senses of course! haha

First we went to Chilis for a late lunch.  I ordered Macy her very own kids meal.  A whole cheese pizza, side of corn, and chocolate milk.  She ate WAY more than I thought she would!

Lunch took a lot longer than we thought so we only had about an hour to spend at Kid Senses
